Healing​

Through this collection of ceramic work, Samah uncovers that the challenging but creative process of making ceramics. It can be a therapeutic, healing, and relaxing experience. Ceramics have a different quality artistically and they challenge the artist in unique and tactile ways. This was Samah's first time working on the  wheel. Eventually,she found that beyond the frustration of getting the kiln process to produce the work the right way, there is the pure joy of shaping something; entirely by hand and twisting the forms to fit the picture in our minds - this joy lasts with the artist for a long time.
